Legality of fantasy sports in India offered on the FANTASY APP platform qualifies as “Game of Skill”; Playing a game of skill is legal in India. A “Game of skill” is a game or contest played by using the skill and knowledge of the user, so a Game of Skill is excluded from Gambling.
Fantasy sports games are games which involve users to select the fantasy teams based on certain conditions from a list of players scheduled to play live games on a given day.
